Wake Up!

Ok, the Holidaze are almost over.... Here is a cup-of, well, whatever you need to get you into 2012!
New blogposts coming soon!

An, Ink blot mug.... right up our alley.

Awesome Ceramic Crinkle Cup. I would love to have these for a modern "picnic" themed party!

Oh, watch-out!  Spiky mugs by Symmetrical Pottery.

Anthro's Pinched Corners Mug. Comes in pale blue and white. Maybe a bit blah in pictures but it's really cozy in person.

Eh hem, Starbucks, did these adorable cable-knit mugs in 2008.  They totally sold out and have not resurfaced.

And here they are, sigh, Hermes mugs.  My heart be still...

Mark your calendars, January 8th, 2012 is the Rose Bowl Flea Market!

December Rose Bowl!

Although more work than we ever thought, we absolutely love doing the flea market.  We love the interesting people that we meet from designers, to DIYers, to flea market enthusiasts.  We love the other vendors around us who share stories, share their love of the hunt, and share Tylenol for aching backs.

We love that the spirit of Christmas seemed to touch (almost) everyone.  From the angry man who intentionally parked his truck to block us and then put a giant pile of blankets in front of our setup but later apologized for being so stressed out, to the woman from Chicago who thanked us for saying 'Merry Christmas' because "no one says that any more."

We really do love you all.  Thank you for another amazing market and have a fantastic week!

A shot of the action...
(Ha!  Caught Brooke mid-stride!)

An early Christmas treat....

Giant brass grasshopper is almost too crazy-cool to sell!  Bought it at an estate sale in Malibu this past week!

A bit of blue...

Um,who put that yellow vase in our rose colored section?!

(Love, love these antique African footstools!)

(nearly everything in this photo sold - how amazing is that?!)

Until next time!

Pink Accent Pieces!

Earlier this week we promised to bring you some reinvented accent pieces a la PINK~  Well, here they are!
Enjoy the transformations!

This is how a few of these pieces started....

Although we did like the yellow, it was dirty,
chipped and just dated.

There was just something about the regency details on this seemingly common magazine carrier that caught our attention immediately! But, the dingy brown had to go!

PRIME TIME

Getting everything primed!  It's usually at this point that we want to keep everything white because we love how clean it looks!

SNEAK PEEK!!

"The Claw!"

This little end table ended up being our favorite.  It is a pale pink and and we accented the hardware and bamboo details in slight white.

Marching on to the Rose Bowl!

We also reupholstered the footstool to the right in a
beautiful silk!

These accessories and more available at our shop!

Pretty in Pink

We like to think that we are not "girly girls".  That we are not "pink girls".  Well, as it turns out, when we started this adventure we were proved wrong!  It seems every day we find a new piece of furniture to reinvent we inevitably want it in some shade of PINK!

When we find feminine accessories we find ourselves gushing over how "cute" they are!  So, C'est la vie!  We are embracing our feminine and soft sides and loving what Pink does to living spaces everywhere!

Stay tuned for our pink accent pieces! We are reinventing a tiny bamboo footstool, a gorgeous, round, claw-foot table and a stylish regency style magazine rack!

Although you wont be able to see the darling backs of these gold floral wall reliefs, we love the little touch of color!

Gold accents are beautiful with pink.  But I love the unexpected addition of the blue and white accessories.

Not surprising that we find this office to be perfection.
It belongs to Ms. Kelly Wearstler herself!

Clear your calendar for this Sunday!  We'll be at the
Rose Bowl Flea Market in the extended antique area.
Happy Monday Everyone!
